Lahore is not Pakistan but Karachi, Quetta and Peshawar are also in Pakistan. I would like if Pervez Musharraf's statement comes for the same festivals in Karachi, Quetta and Peshawar.

Is he not creating unjustice by organizing activities like marathon, basant etc. in Lahore only???

Roshan khayali is very powerful. I work for an MNC here in Khi and for the past many years, my company organized a basant festival in Karachi for employees and the same is practiced by many other firms. However, since I know the history of basant, I never attend.

As far as Walks and Marathon are concerned, smaller events are organized by many organizations and in different cities on several occassions. I never read even a single statement by any religious party against organizing the marathon, yeah, they are all against the mixing of men and women. However, Sindh govt. is thinking of organizing the same event but the problem is there is no place to arrange such event, as all the roads have been digged out by Mustafa Kudaal..err.. Mustafa Kamal, the city nazim of Karachi so that he could make some money for his party. Rest is yaar zinda, suhbat baqi!
