Full Version: Higher Education In Usa

I am joining this forum only to inform all my fellows for some oppurtunity in higher education in USA.
I am living in United States for quite some time now. I have done my Masters from New York. There are lot of Indian, Chinese and European students coming to USA for their Ph.D as it is paid. 90 % of the universities give a stippend to the students if they are accepted in the program irrespective of their Nationality.

You don't have to go to those costly consulting agensies charging you thousands of rupees for just filling up paper work for you.

I have already helped couple of my friends from Islamabad and Multan to come here for this purpose.

If you have a Master's degree in any scientific field (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Math, commerece etc) with first division, I will encourge you to prepare for your TOEFL and GRE/GMAT (requirement of Ph.D admission).

For Ph.D studies you even don't require to show Financial documents as it is free and universities provide you with all the supporting documents.

I will try to provide full detail by tomorrow and will suggest different universities to apply as well.

If you have any questions , feel free to ask. And don't forget to tell your friends and relatives about this opportunity as well.

Thanks and Allah Hafiz.

In United States Ph.D education is supported by Government. So all the universities pay to their Ph.D students. on the other hand if you are doing Masters, you have to pay all the expenses as it is not supported by government money.
you can go to all the main unversities websites and you can find out there that how much stipened they are paying. I am attaching some links for your consideration;

http://www.columbia.edu/cu/biology/pages/p...-aid/index.html

http://www.nyu.edu/fas/dept/biology/admiss...ancialinfo.html

http://www.mssm.edu/gradschool/phd/support.shtml

These are just few examples. There are almost 75% univerisites who pay all your expenses very few require you to pay.

So this is the golden opportunity for our grad. student to apply. As this is being taken by other students from other countries.

I hope this may have helped you . If not email me , i will try to solve any other confusion.
Thanks

Hello Kainaat,

I am really interested in helping students from pakistan to come to US for higher education. I saw that very few members are looking at this posting in education section. I will suggest to move it to multiple catagories so that different members can look at it and spread the word around. You may have better idea. Please let me know.

As students from pakistan has this thinking in their mind that it is very difficult to get admission in US and they have to pay lot of money as well. But they don't know the facts.

I hope you may know a better way to spread this word.
thanks

You can apply in all these univerisities which i have mentioned above plus some others depending upon program of interest e.g

http://fusion.mssm.edu/phdadmissions/submit/
https://app.applyyourself.com/?id=COL-GAS

Almost all the universities prefer that new students apply online.

If someone have a 2nd div. in their B.Sc and M.Sc (B.A , M.A) , they can still apply. But he/she have to get a good score in TOEFL and GMAT and/or GRE. If you have a very high score in GMAT or GRE you have a good chance for being accepted in the university.

If you have any more question, feel free to ask.

Thanks & Allah Hafiz

There is always an application fee for applying in any university just like Pakistan. It may range from $60-$100 depending upon university. So First i will suggest to search for a university which suits your program of interest and contact me before applying. I will check that for you.

But if you apply online it is mostly less than what you have to submit via paper application.

Anyone can contact me at ssial1@hotmail.com or tshahid@gmail.com for more information.
