You got busted!
did any body visited that site before editing this post and checking whether this post is against the rules or not ?????
I m really sory to see that ... people are still not familiar with the terms and just look everything with the same eye...
There are three kinds of Hacking .... White Hat, Grey Hat and Black Hat ... and White hat and Grey Hat are considered legal everywhere.
The site i mentioned in the post introduce with a virtual challege where some other rival attacks on your company and while playing, you have to secure your resources from the intrusion attempts.
That site prepare you to secure you IT belongings ...
I think mod should have to review the contents of my post, review the contents of the site and then decide whether this post contains objectionable material or not ...

any thing that is being deleted or edited here in HC is first confirmed by the authorities. in this case it was me
.. FYI, here on HC, any thing that relate to the *opportunity* for hacking stuff is prohibited. Whether it's ETHICAL or NON-ETHICAL
. you can share knowledge to clear the CONCEPTS, like you did in your post giving the info of Hacking types, it's ok since anyone will not get any opportunity to test/implement or practice it. but if you give some way to do it then it'll be moderated by team

Dude u forgot one small thing to cure a disease u have to reach its roots, so to stop hacking u shud first think like a hacker coz only then u can stop em.

Well Mr / Miss / Mrs Moderator .. i admit your authority here as you mentioned in the first para of your post but ... what i wouldlike to say is this .. what did you confirmed before editing this post...
This post was about a game and its url.
The scenario is ... the game is ... an online game ... that on starting tells you that some rival company attacks on their server and did some changes in their programs etc.. and they ... asks you to help them ...
There are nine levels of the game...
Each is in the form of assignment and each assignment deals with different aspects of computer sciences like ... scripting, java, asembly, stegnography, functional programming, unix and so on.
What you have to do there, is .. to get assignment, download the file (under 400kb contains the challenge) and log off from the site...
Rest you have to ... do .. googling the google and search the information regarding that topic. checkout the techniques and then apply those techniques on the file you downloaded.
When you apply the right technique, you get the solution of that mission/assignment and you put that answer in the website and you 're on the next level.
That game is purely solved by learning and searching the information on the web and its 1000% about knowledge of different web techniques ....
Ir. Meth ... i think .. its a very good way to learn and i assure you .. that only knowledge able users are able to play this game ... (even at that site --- i didnt mentioned the name / url of site yet because you already edited my first post --- some school going teenagers are also playing and raising their level ) But That game is hard, even .. for registering there, you have to solve a small challege that is about the encryption and encoding techniques.
So ... if you have authorities., use them .. but dont misuse them ... as you are doing in this case as i m a very responsible citizen of Pakistan and working as officer on Pakistan's State Services and i know very well that what i m sharing and what are its impact ... so im assuring you that this is not an evil kind of sharing at all....
and you .. using your position, edited this post without personaly visiting and playing this game...

Actually this is an art having a complete science in it...
I was once invited .. by one of mod of IT Section to share some of my knowledge here .. but response for my very first post ... prevents me saying anything more over here....
I think
kind of tutorials are more welcomed here and i m not expert in that field...Let's be clear about the policies of HC first and then think about learning or sharing things...
