Make sure your bluetooth drivers are installed and working correctly. I am using Widcomm drivers for bluetooth. Default Windows drivers should work just as well.
PC settings:
* download and Install m-router
* open advance settings and check the boxes corresponding serial cable, additional COM ports, emulator and bluetooth
* click additional COM ports and make sure ur bluetooth COM port is there.
Now that our m-Router is all set, let’s configure Gnubox on the N70.
GnuBox configuration:
* download and Transfer the file gnubox_N70.sis and follow the regular installation process. Make sure that Bluetooth is turned ON on your PC and N70
* Go to Tools -> Settings -> Connection -> Access points
* goto options -> new access point -> default settings
* Change the connection name to Bt. Gnubox will not accept any other connection name so make sure you have it set to Bt.(u can also name it 'Dial-up')
* data bearer -> packet data
* access point name -> Bt
* username(give it a username of ur internet connection)
* prompt password -> no
* password(give it password of ur internet connection)
* authentication -> normal
* now go to options -> advance settings
* network type -> IPv4
* phone IP address -> automatic
* name servers -> primary server ->(give is the dns ip of ur computer. to know the dns ip, open cmd and type ipconfig/all. read the line "IP address). leave the secondary server to 0.0.0.0
* proxy server address ->(give it the dns server address. open cmd and type ipconfig/all. read the dns servers.)
* proxy port number -> 0
Now that you have a connection named Bt, run Gnubox
*go to Options -> Install -> Create Records. Dont worry when it says ISP ‘Bt’ not found. Exit Gnubox.
* (This step is very important) make sure you Exit Gnubox.
* Now run Gnubox again. this time u can see the ispout has found.
* Go to Options -> 2box Bluetooth -> Serial port.
* The phone will now search for Bluetooth devices, select you PC and hit OK.
* We are almost done here. Now Go to Options -> Install -> change default AP to set Bt as your default Access Point.
* Then go to Options -> Debug -> Bring up IF
That’s all, the phone will connect to your PC via Bluetooth and show a message saying “Connection Open”.
Now you can browse the internet, chat with friends and do pretty much anything that you can do over GPRS.
