Musharraf’s meeting with Ehud Barak criticised

ISLAMABAD: Senator Prof Khurshid Ahmed, the parliamentary leader of the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal in the Senate, has criticised President Pervez Musharraf for meeting Israeli defence minister Ehud Barak.

In a statement issued here on Tuesday, the senator termed the meeting a violation of Pakistan’s principled position and said it damaged the country’s image in the Arab and Islamic world.

The statement said: “It is deplorable that President Musharraf invited Israeli minister to his hotel room in Paris where they held an hour-long meeting reportedly over Iran’s nuclear programme, among other things.”

yeah read the news as "musharraf ki israeli minister say raah chaltay achanak mulakat... 1 gahntay jari rehnay wali is mulaqat main iran kay nuclear programme kay saath saath doosray topics par baat howi" ab yeh batain keh koi "achanak" honay wali mulaqat 1 hour tak kaisay jari reh sakti hai... yeh bichara bhi koi koona khudra dhoond raha hai support hasil karnay ka!!!

I believe what ever President Musharraf is doing, is for good and the prosperity of pakistan. I have faith on him. Pakistani citizens unfortunately donot have a good memory.
They are just blindly following the anti musharraf media. Afterall, our media is also been fed by politicians. Specifically, i can point out the case Iftikhar choudhry, where millions of money was spent to propagade that issue.

please tell me how do you believe that what musharraf is doing is for the good of the country???

Lets do it (lols) i would love to talk abot musharraf , because he is the best.
Musharraf came in power in october 1999, lets not go into details, but he pardoned shariff (because his family member contacted king abdulllah).Shariff family insanity ddin't finish. I have lived in ksa for
a decade, ihave some good saudi friends. Shariff when got setteled, requested to king that they want to purchase a land to construct a hospital ,king became very happy ang provided a giangantic land for only 50000 riyals,but can you believe that what they did, after iftikhar choudhry case started, they convinced the king that their son is sick nd he needs treatment in uk and also promised the king that they will come back (which they never did ,after shariff was again deported to ksa lols), they sold the lnd privately for 7,500,00 riyals (Allah in logon ko hidayat dae).

Then shariif family paid case fee to mr.aitezaz ahsen 500,000 to fight the case of iftikhar choudhry(i use to admire aitezaz before that , but again he deviated from his original party rules for nmoney). And also some majo media channels have been closely associated to shariiff since decades, so the proof are there. i was so ammzed to see coverage like chief justice is in house, he is coming out of th house ,he i smiling. his caravan has reached here and there bla bla lols , i use to think ki kitna falto ka time hey sab ki pass.

Anyways, if we look to the history, all the current and former politicians have the influence of army intelligence agencies. Mr.nawaz shariff politial career was formed and boosted by mrzia. now shariff is sayig that musharraf is adictator .lols

Muisharraf is the best. I will support him anyway. He is a true soldier and a brave man, faces the crises bravely, not like typical politicians that runs away from crisis. Anybody inplace of im ,would have gone to mental hospital.

All the fcts presented above are not STUPID. All of you guys open your eyes and remove anamosity and confusion.

buddy lets not talk about the assumptions do u hav any proof??? as for not living upto their promise... an amry officer takes an oath to protect the constitution of Pakistan when he passes out of the PMA did musharraf lived up to his promise???

this is also true. Saudi Arabia has always helped pakistan in good and bad. But the reality is that india big groups are taking control of the international market backedup by hard work ,honetsy( ihave seen lots of indian, they are more honest and hardworking as compared to pakistanis.) Also indian are ready to work in very cheap rates.
Also there is ongoing issue of making india the permanent member of un security council. If it happens, then "rahi sahi kasar bhee gayee".
