can any one tell me that is that possible that if i am using windows based OS & want to install MAC (OS) on windows based system, so will the windows allow me to install the MAC OS on him?
well i think its not possible but want to confirm & if its not possible then give me any "TRANSFORMATION PACK OF MAC (OSX)" to give a MAC look to my windows
thanks
Loner Tech
May 24 2008, 03:47 PM
Better stay away from transformation packs coz most of the times u end up reinstalling windows and btw Mac is waste of time, they took the unix code and modified and the result was the most unsecure OS
Hesham Ahmed
May 24 2008, 08:38 PM
LT ... sahil did not talk to install transformations pack ..
he talk about MAC OS
yes .. if you have geniune MAC OS you can install ... on windows Xp based
you can use both of OS well ...
No Problem

Yup my friend it is possible to install MacOSX on an x86 machine. But for this you should have Pentium or Celeron A Class processor running at 2.0Ghz or more. Moreover you should have SATA harddrives as ATA drives are not detected by MacOSX setup. I personally installed MacOSX and it was like a charm. U can see guides on OSX86 project. In addition you should have a DVD writer for burning modified setup.
In addition to power ease of use matters most when we talk about "Best OS" around. I have tried almost all flavors of LINUX and found that it have stability but not ease. I am sorry Mr. Loner Tech but I believe that MacOSX is really the best OS around. OSX has less booting time for almost every application as compared to Windows and Linux.

You are not a geek, as u may think u are.
Feature by feature is a crap idea b'cuz having a lots of features doesn't help choosing the best,it is same as having FX-199E4 calculator doesn't help anyone(correct me if I m wrong).
May be u like GDS but i Like SpotLight so what? So I think that u should make a back up of your own system and try MacOSX. I don't even think you have ever tried OSX. You'll see the results yourself.
Linux is for poor chaps who cannot afford original softwares. People blame Windows because they have a 25 RS pirated copy, they cant even think of having a security patch installed. Windows And OSX are thousand times better as compared to Linux. I am using Windows for more than 9 years I never ever got a virus that's because I know what I do.
On Linux u got no virus but how many designing softwares can run on it Huh? GIMP @@@@s when it comes to Graphic Manipulations, and don't say that you prefer Blender 2.45 over MAX or Maya 2008. Amarok the worst player around is the default media player in most of Distros. Even Windows Media Player is 1000 times better than Amarok.
In windows you need an antivirus software and for Linux u need Crossover office for running softwares.(Again correct me if I m wrong).
Any way here on this thread we are willing to solve Sahil's problem not to start our row. Go open up a new thread and there we'll joust.
For Sahil, my friend it doesn't matter if a person says Linux is coolest. He have his perception. OSX is great, only someone who have ever used it can talk about it. If you want to install OSX, go for it cause it worths but be aware that you'll have to buy Mac versions of your softwares. If you just want look of Aqua get FLYAKITEOSX's PortraitofKite.
Tht's the best bricoPack around. It's safe because it doesn't modifies the system files I promise u'll never have to reinstall your windows.

Ha Ha!
Poor LoooneyTooon.
What's the point in posting a DMG???
ISO are far better for installation cuz u can open them in WinRAR or any other software of this ilk and modify the files accd. to ur own needs and then easily save the changes. For installation Sahil will have to alter some files. You Posted a DMG for Sahil who doesn't even know about this format, ur head is stuffed with baseballs bro.
Well I don't use MAGIC ISO. But thanks for the link. Even when I know that I'll not download it.
Bye
Looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooneyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Ooh look at that mr wanna be techie started again, can u please explain mac duck what's better when it comes to ISO's? And what files he will have to edit ?

Ha Ha Loooney! I am not amazed that u dont know.
I dont exactly know if u have posted the link for a modified setup or an original one.
If it's just the original setup then for installation on x86 the user is supposed to modify some binaries. If u really want to install MacOS then certainly I can post the procedure for u.(I think it can be installed on AMD)
ISO are better because they can easily be opened in WinRAR, allowing u to immediately view the files and modify every file without using MagicISO or others.
DMG is native in MacOSX I mean u dont need any 3rd party software to mount the image. I mean it's better for people using MacOSX.
Well, Sahil if u have not downloaded the setup from the link I'll ask u to buy an original DVD if it is possible for u.
