net single ker leea hai. ab router ka chakker bhee khatam ho gaya hai.

tu ab mujhay samaj nahi a raha k main port kasay forward karoon

mujhay u torrent ke port forward kerni hai

main ny sunna hai k 45682 acha port hai u torrent ka aur es per zayada speed atee hai .......... agar asa hai tu main kasay

es ko apna port no bana sakta hoon




dosra problem hai k main ny apna system format keea tha tu ju files download hote hain wo sab delete ho gayeen

ju torrent main ny download keeay thay wo tu hain mere pass. ab main unhain seed kerna chahhta hoon

please batain k unhain dobara seed kasay karon?

Kya ab aapke paas adsl connection nahi hai? coz if u still have dsl it has to work on a router

hai per ab main ny direct cable laga deea hai jasay pehlay din company walay laga ker gaye the

router tu main ny kud khareed ker lagaya tha dosre larke ko net dene k leeay

But still there has to be a DSL modem coz without that it wont work at all unless yours is wireless

ya i have modem , when i said i dont have modem. direct cable means first i was connected through router now i am using

modem only

• Firstly, why you wana forward port. Believe you me it wun effect your UPLOADING that much. but if you wana then we will help you out.
  
• Try to get the modem homepage. if 192.168.1.1 isn't working then there may be some other specification. goto modem homepage or read their manual. there may be someother access url. maybe this link will help you out

actually i heard that if i will forward my port then other peers will able to connect me i dont know this is right or wrong

it's true .. bt if u dun forward your port then peers will be able to connect to you via the server from which u downloaded .torrent file. so you'll be able to upload even then .. it's just you'll have a lil bridge in between

Koi other solution batoo do bhai....... men nay isi post men port ka suna tha men nay bus wohi change kardya... aur random port kar kay bhe check kya kuch nahe ho raha

If u can't forward port then enable upnp, use this for proper setup & u will have to enable upnp in utorrent also

PORT FORWARDING HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH DOWNLOADING AND UPLOADING .. ..


you are not getting any download speed caz you don't have any CONNECTED PEER. check the image n check there is 0 infront of a number written in bracker 0[b](2) -- [b]0(158) ------ the number outside the bracket means the "connected" peer which may or may not EFFECT if port forwarding is disabled.

I am using torrents for YEARS .. and only in my home i have FORWARDED the port. I never forwarded any port in my office n still i have uploaded about 80GB of data from OFFICE .. and about 300GB+ data in office.

I don't agree with that coz my case is different, without forwarding any ports my upload speed remains the same but download speed hits the bottom

from where you download torrents ?

if your torrents source are public trackers who dun OFFER their own server for connectivity (mininove, torrentz etc) then i believe you are saying TRUE.

but if you are using private trackers like (torrentleech, demonoid, desitorrents, bwtorrents, hdbits etc) then i dun accept .. since i have been downloading from these sites. and my upload/download is according to my connection math i.e CONNECTion SPEED/8

I was talkin in general coz almost 90% of my torrents come from TPB and btw don't u think ur confusing him too much

i was just trying to say that dun confuse urself in port forwarding. since i have given him invite too bwtorrents (which is private tracker). so there he dun need to forward the ports.

anyway .. we will help him out here .. after his reply to the post in which i gave the link to port forwarding.

Ok for SV in simple words "u don't need port forwarding for private trackers like bwtorrents" but for public torrents u can always use upnp [universal plug n play], hey btw IM ru having invite for bitspyder?

yaar i had bitspyder n bitme.org both .. but due to some busy schedule i was not able to log in those accounts for about 3 months and now those accounts are BLOCKED .. ..

sorry for interuption,,, but can anybody explain briefly about port forwarding,,,, what is it and how its forwarded

i have been using bit comet, and have dowloaded plenty of data,,, mostly from TPB or mininova and also from desitorrents,,,, i dont think,,, that i ever had any download problem,,,, even 30-40 GB could be downloaded in a night span, just start when leaving the office,,, and in the moring,,, its done

anyhow,,, I would like to know about portforwarding
