Full Version: Riddle # 249----->solved
A rectangle is 16cm long and 10cm wide . If the lenght is reduced by k cm and its width is increased also by k cm so as to make it a square then its area changes by......................
16x10=160cm square
16-3=13
10+3=13
k=13
13x13=169cm square
therefore the area increases by 9cm.
increases by 9cm 16 x 10 = 160 13 x13 =169
