Hello,

I recently encountered this virus while I inserted a flash drive from a friend and since then everytime I restart my computer (running on windows-XP) I get a message saying "Maybe your system not full patch. System still safe. www.microsoft.com PATCH CODE : AS3-CTRKEA-SR". It wont allow me to cancel this message other than OK it. Then windows-XP would boot normally and every now and then I also get a pop-up which says "Indonesian Smile- and your computer is safe".

Furthermore the 'View' the tab in 'Folder Options' has some weird language and I can't unhide any files now...

There's the culprit("C:\WINDOWS\Network-IPv6\network.exe") for removal u can try installing unlocker from here and unlock the folder "C:\WINDOWS\Network-IPv6" and after unlocking delete the folder and even if it fails just select delete action when unlocker asks you to and it will remove it on the next system boot most probably as I don't see any registry entry associated with it smile.gif

U really though it would be visible? Ok here's how u do it goto Tools->Folder Options->View
1. Under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders
2. Uncheck hide protected system files
Try again and this time hopefully u will find that folder but remember to reset the settings when ur done smile.gif

Told u earlier

Furthermore the 'View' the tab in 'Folder Options' has some weird language and I can't unhide any files now...

One more idea is there n that's u shud install avast anti virus since it has a boot time scanner so u will have better chances of disinfection
