May be yeh problem known ho per mere saath 1st time hui so i wanna ask here


Story kuch yun hai ke aj se 2/3 din pehley main aur do friends yahoo per conference main chat kar rahey they ... Friends ko main A aur B se mention kardeti hoon .... So hua yeh ke kaafi der baat karney ke baad achanak Conf main aik unknown id ne entry ki .... Ham samjhey ke baqi do main se kisi ne bulaya hai.. per confirmation per pata chala ke aisa nahi ... ham teenon ke liye woh unknown thi id.

Us ne atey hi poocha ke mujhey yahan kis ne bulaya hai etc etc ... Ham ne conf quit kardi aur doosri conf invite ki to wahan again aik new id enter hui aur us ke saath mazeed do log aur .... Aur un ka bhi same question .... Phir conf quit ki aur 3rd test karney ke liye invite ki to wahan bhi yehi hua ... Ham pareshan ke chakkar kiya hai aakhir .. kyunke conf to aik private cheez hui ke jab tak ham kisi ko invite na karain koi nahi aa sakta.

Khair yeh silsila kaafi der chalta raha phir second day phir yehi kahani hui .... ham ne check karney ke liye sirf A ko conf main invite kiya ... Wahan 30 mins tak koi bhi nahi aya then aik alag conf B ke saath ki to wahan bhi koi nahi aya.... Then main ne A wali conf main B ko invite kiya to wahan phir wohi last day wali id ne entry ki .... So hamain shak hua ke problem B ki taraf se hai ....

So poochna yeh hai ke kiya yeh possible hai koi bhi ap ki yahoo chat ya conf ko access karsakta hai .... Yahoo ke hacking softwares ke barey main to kaafi suna hai ... like booter etc ... per yeh ittefaq pehli baar hua to kuch pareshani hui ke koi privacy aur security hi nahi rahi yahoo pe to

So agar yeh Cable network ki waja se possible hua to is se bachney ka koi tareeqa hai except quit yahoo conferencing? .... yeh bhi mention kardoon ke main aur B cable net use kartey hain aur A daip up user hain.

Technically speaking its not a connection problem and am not too sure maybe its a software related problem (yahoo messy), so I recommend u all shud upgrade your versions of yahoo from here and btw if u want total privacy then there are other ways but u do this first and if the problem is still there I'll tell u alternate ways

I have heard that on cable network... any form the network can access our pc .... what u say?

Not exactly but well if u have windows shares on then anything can happen even script kiddies can netbios

Ms I have used Yahoo's conferencing feature thousands of time, it's not flawless obviously but I never heard smthng like that.


Plz make sure that you are using WinXP SP2 (or disable Messenger Service in WinXP SP1).

While you and Mr.A are conferencing Instead of inviting Mr. B, call someone else; see if same happens again?

Maybe ur browser or messenger connection profile is hacked so try to restore your system to an earlier date by using System Restore in Start Menu's Sytem Tools folder.

If ur issue doesn't resolve, kindly inform Yahoo as it is a very serious matter.

jee janab cable network waley sathiyon k saath ayesa hu sakta hey coz admin server se kisi bhi client ko access kiya ja sakta hey just aik 23 kb file aap ko send kardi jaye ..... actully yeh cable network ki khamiyon main se aik khami he u know jab someone wanna got connection tu kisi ney aakar aap k pc main yeh file just kholi aur aap ka kaam hu gaya.... even aap ki hd per jitna bhi kuch hu wo aasani se copy paste cut delete even aap ki hdd format tak ki ja sakti hey...... aur aik aur mazey ki baat bataon..... admin ko bhi users hacked kar detey hain..... just gateways k zaryeh khair yeh kuch secrates hain.... anyways conferance ka jaha tak talluq hey usmain aik kaam hu sakta he k Yahoo messanger use kartey huey ksisi ne yahoo k liye hacking softwarebanaya hu,,,,, anything is possible..... coz rules.... firewalls banti hain cracked huti hain.... dunya main jenious hain.... koi musbat pehlo per tu koi manfi pehlo per chalta hey.....

Everything has a cure and btw this is a very old technique ur talkin about and it fails if u have a decent antivirus software installed

Yes that was also happened with me very first time.

Yes i have Win xp sp2 .. and B also have Win xp SP2

No when we invite B then thats was happened ... So the problem was on B side

For system restore, B have recently formatted her pc and installed new windows so they will it works??

Jee yeh sab kahaniyan to main ne bhi suni hui hain .. but yeh aik anokhi baat hui thi to socha kuch info li jaye ke kiya waja ho sakti hai

Ask Ms. B to run a boot time virus scanner. If she is an average user with limited computer knowledge then ask her to download latest version of AvastAntivirus from



And schedule a boot time scan.

Or if she is comfortable with DOS then ask her to download UBCD or Hiren BCD.

If her problem is solved by Restoring the system then may be a connection profile was hacked. System Restore is not effective method to remove virus but it can bring back the good old profiles so u know...

If u r still having any problem then do write here in the very same thread.

I would rather recommend a full security suite as it has firewall+antispyware also
