Are the BEST…
Here’s the deal: your report card’s an absolute disaster; the teachers think you are hopeless and your parents are ready to chew your head off. Who comes to your rescue? Well, your nana, nani or dada, dadi of course! While everyone is caught up about you getting ( a hard-earned) B grade, they congratulate you for atleast avioding a C. Seriuosly, could any one be more supportive?
Now, this little message is not supposed to provide you with an excuse to not study. On the contrary, it is supposed to be a reminder that even in the darkest of times (unreasonable curfews, being grounded, or the horror of all horrors, your allowance terminated),there are some people(i.e your grand parents)who will still think wonders of you.
Think of all the countless time when your grandparents have stood up for you, and tha fact that whenever you ask for something-however trivial or basic-they try their best to get it for you.
At the same time, they also feel a strong need to instill within you the moral values and ethics they up hold .So even if they have a list of do’s and don’ts for you, it is intended for your well-being. And for their sake, don’t make a big deal out of it because disappointing them is just not worth it!
So if your grandparents are a little forgetful, or they simply don’t understand your need to listen to blaring metal-give them a break!
