well as far as 2nd question is concern Cache is a memory inside your computer it is temproray memory. its like RAM and you have 2MB of Cache u can increase it according to your needs.. 333MHZ or 2.4 GHz its the type of processor it mean how faster you computer can be.

cache cannot be changed, it comes embeded. processor fetch data in term of hierarchy, so first data the processor looks at is cache, so cache resides on processor, on RAM and on Hard Drive as well.

2MB u mentioned is your Cache (you must be using Pentium-4 processor, smithfield core)

and MHz is Bus speed of 1) processor and 2)Memory, couold as well be applicable on Procesor clock, but ab they are in GHz, so using MHz for them is pretty orthodox.



also, forget to mention, compaq 6000 is a series, so tell me specific which model is yours. aas there are 10 different type of systems in this series.
